The noble house called Pachïou was built at the very beginning of the XVII th century and the same family is living here since 14 generations .

There is only 6 houses like this one left in this part of France called Chalosse.

The tower wax used for pigeons and was the symbol of our privileges. The garden still have its old trees and a squared pond with waterlilys, and a typical French garden.

Inside you discover a warm style, with a lot of timber, old furniture,silver, old potery, familly portraits, fire places in the bedrooms, and canopy beds.

A chapel consecrated since more than 200 years reminds us of the behaviour of our great grand oncle, Jean-Blaize Dufourcet de la Carrère, who was persecuted during French Revolution.   

The local sense of welcome will make you feel like a member of the Family, in a quiet place, out of time.
